The Texarkana Gunslingers were a professional baseball team based in Texarkana, Texas, in the United States. The Gunslingers were a member of the Continental Baseball League, which is not affiliated with Major League Baseball. From 2008-2009 the Gunslingers played their home games at George Dobson Field. The Gunslingers were the first professional baseball team in Texarkana since 1954. In December 2009, the CBL announced the Gunslingers would not be back for 2010. The club folded citing attendance, and money concerns.
